Team Chile 2012
Chileans in Saskatoon Immigrated to Canada in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The Chilean’s have a long history in the Saskatoon Soccer community. Arauco was established in 1982 and has been a fixture in Saskatoon soccer winning numerous city and provincial titles. Chile known as “La Roja” in international soccer will be competing in its 6th Saskatoon World Cup. Being the first Saskatoon World Cup Champions in 2010, Chile is looking to bounce back and have a great tournament and hopes of raising The Saskatoon World Cup once again. Team Chile is relying on the return of some key veterans Pato Tapia, Victor silva and Sergio Fuentealba as well as the next generation of youngsters like Diego Diaz, Diego Godoy, Jeno and Jesse Kantor to lead this year’s Team. Viva Chile!!
